   If you’ve never seen what getting inside a song looks like, don’t miss watching — and listening — to Odetta do just that in this video. I love what she says after singing part of a work song:
   “The simplicity of the words certainly wouldn’t win a poet’s prize…but there is something more than what the words are saying. The words…it’s almost like an introduction to feelings that the words came out of.”
