"On the last day of the world I would want to plant a tree.” — W.S. Merwin

  1. See you there. (Hoping you haven’t tempted the fair gods with that weather comment!) :)

  2. What? Two days only? What happened to Friday? Or did they skip that last year, too?

    Hmmph.

Oh, well, I’m sure that it’ll be a nice couple of days in Berea. I haven’t washed my car in a week in order not to bring anything but sunshine with me!

In fact, it’s a bit warmer down here today and the bees have come out to feed off the oak tree drippings on Isabel’s car, which she finds both funny and embarrassing at the same time.

  3. I really wish I could go this time. Maybe I’ll be able to make it to one in the not too distant future, though. Good luck, and here’s to fair weather, and lots of buyers.

  4. Well, Gin, looks like I managed not to offend the rain god. I should have learned my lesson about that 36 years or so ago when TR and I went canoeing/camping in the wild Canadian north. That’s when it rained so much it floated our air mattress in the middle of the night.

Tommy — it’s been a while since the Guild has done Fridays. It was a low-revenue day.

MSW — we knew you were there in spirit. Many folk asked about you.
