- Sherry Chandler has received professional development funding and a Professional Assistance Award through the Kentucky Arts Council, a state agency in the Commerce Cabinet, supported by state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.

Jackson Browne on backup vocals, Bruce Hornsby playing squeeze-box, Bonnie Raitt singing a classic John Prine tune. Marvelous performance all around!

Oh Ro and JimT, I’ve loved to hear Bonnie sing this song since long before I was an old woman. But now, it never fails to bring a tear. This one I’ve posted here is particularly good. There’s also a great version by John Prine with the Green River flowing behind him. But though John wrote it, it’s Bonnie who knows how to own it.
