Interesting juxtaposition of the abortion article with the news of Al Gore’s award. It seem that both opposing factions continue to argue with scientific facts and statistical evidence about both abortion and climate change. And, in both cases, I think their blatant prejudices are becoming more and more transparent –and rediculous.
Even when Chicken Little says, “The sky is falling!” shouldn’t one go out and look up, instead of responding with something like,” No. It can’t be because I don’t believe in that, it goes against my values?”
I don’t know. Maybe Scarlet O’Hara would have been a better analogy.
“I’ll think about that tomorrow. Fiddle-de-de.”

Right on, Rosalie! We’re kind of on a roll: Lessing for Literature, Gore for Peace, and scientific evidence that you can’t really outlaw abortion.
Sherry Chandler has received professional development funding and a Professional Assistance Award through the Kentucky Arts Council, a state agency in the Commerce Cabinet, supported by state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.
