Mid-summer is just not my time of year. Somehow this reality is one I have to learn anew each year. In July and August, I am no more likely than Bush/Cheney to roll out a new product. I do well to keep up with the old ones.
In fact I have not been keeping up with the old ones. For one thing, I’ve been a very bad citizen lately of the blogging communities with which I am affiliated: The Peace Tree and Poets for Peace. Fortunately, those concerns, spearheaded by The Poetryman, are going strong without me.
Poetryman, this is my public apology.
Poetryman is far from standing still this summer. He’s expanding. And I need to tell you about his new endeavor, Rant:
Do you have something to say? Want to liberate your rant of the moment? Got a bone to pick with Bush or Cheney or the US government in general, or the system, or The Man, or your own government, or oppressor? Just send an email to prime63@cox.net with your rant and it will be published here along with a fitting photomontage.
So what are you waiting for, get to ranting!

I also invite you to buy a copy of the Poetryman’s book, Don’t Burn the Flag, Wash It (BookSurge Publishing), pictured here and now available for Amazon.com.
