Poets for Peace
thepoetry man, who blogs at A Poetic Justice and who sponsors The Peace Tree, has started another group blog called Poets for Peace where I will be posting from time to time.
I have a poem up there now: “Bring Up a Child in the Way He Should Go.” It first appeared in the nthology In the Criminal’s Cabinet. That anthology is still in print; it contains over 200 pages of poetry and prose from an international cast of stars originally published at the nth position, including a poem from Amy King, our current Poet Laureate of the Blogosphere.
Poets for Peace will feature work from Helen Losse of Windows Toward the World, Case Wagengood of Open Letters to George W. Bush, and Betmo.
So click on through and visit once in a while. You’ll find good stuff. I’ll put a link on my blogroll for your convenience.
And if any of you have some peace poetry you’d like me to post, let me know backchannel and I’ll put it up.
