Somebody stacked the deck
As gas reaches $3 a gallon because somehow the refineries fell behind in their production (imagine that, such poor planning), I suggest everybody watch Who Killed the Electric Car. It’s enough to make me soften toward Mel Gibson.
Not, mind you, that I am an apostate on free trade and all that. Heavens no. Of course not.
But how can I believe in something I’ve never seen?
So many oil men in the White House, including Condi Rice who was on the board of Chevron before she came to enable the invasion of Iraq, we’d just as well have replaced Jimmy Carter’s solar panels with an oil derrick in the Rose Garden.
It’s like we all live inside a rigged game of Texas Hold’em.
