Press Release from the Governor’s Office:

FRANKFORT, Ky. – A new online survey allows citizens across Kentucky to let Governor Ernie Fletcher know how they think the Commonwealth’s anticipated budget surplus can be best used.

The survey will remain online through January 25. The online survey asks participants to first rank several possible priorities which have been identified by the Fletcher Administration, or add their own. Participants can also view more information about the surplus, and have space to leave their own thoughts and comments for Governor Fletcher.

“It’s not often a Governor has an opportunity to go to the people to ask how to spend a state budget surplus,” said Governor Fletcher. “I encourage all Kentuckians to participate in a town hall meeting or complete this survey. Let me know what you think. I look forward to hearing from you.”

You can use a write-in item at the bottom of the survey to indicate your support for more funding for the arts.
