The Lady in the Lake
My picture postcard shot of Nazareth:
If you look closely, you can see both the statue of the virgin that sits in the middle of the lake and the towers of the convent cathedral. That was zoomed out as far as I could go and it is November light and after 3 p.m.

Thank you, Helen. I got a poem and a half out of the weekend and some good comments on an older poem that had been languishing. Also got one nice long walk through the grounds and a trip to Louisville to hear W. S. Merwyn read — the germ of the half poem. Not bad for a three-day retreat.
