- Sherry Chandler has received professional development funding and a Professional Assistance Award through the Kentucky Arts Council, a state agency in the Commerce Cabinet, supported by state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.

Well, Terry, it was Spider Woman who wove the world. I have developed a great love for them in my lifetime, which is just as well. We don’t use insecticides and our house is full of them. On the other hand, they are our insecticides. My father, who was considerably less than politically correct, discouraged us from killing spiders for that very reason.
