Lexington Shakespeare Festival 2006 Season

Oh dear. While I was napping and Doing Nothing, the Lexington Shakespeare Festival got a headstart on their 25th season. Here is the press release from their web site:

The 2006 Lexington Shakespeare Festival will present its 25th Season at the UK-LFUCG Arboretum on Alumni Drive with the following productions:

July 5-9 – A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by Beth Kirchner

July 12-16 – Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Joe Ferrell

July 19-23 – The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, directed by Tonda Fields

The 2006 Festival gates will open at 7:30 pm, pre-show entertainment at 8:00 pm with main-stage performance at 8:45 pm. General admission $8.00 per person, children 6 and under FREE. Reserved chairs $12.00 each and reserved blanket area for 4 people $48.00. For reserved seating and general admission group sales and season tickets, please call 257-4929 beginning June 1, 2006.
