“A Consolation of Philosophy”
I’m pleased to announce that my poem, “A Consolation of Philosophy,” has been published in the July/August 2006 issue of The Rambler.
My thanks to Georgia Green Stamper for the inspiration.

Thank you, Helen and Terry and those of you who backchanneled.
I actually got paid for this one, which was a bit of a shock to the system. Pleasant though.

Paid? You actually got paid? What an interesting concept for a poet.
Congratulations. As I can’t bring up your poem in the online magazine blurb for The Rambler, I guess I’ll have to go into my local B & N (a rare occasion) and buy a copy. It will be my pleasure. It looks like a good publication.

I rushed the check to the bank, Brooks. It seems to have passed.
Some temptation fo frame it but hey!
Thanks in advance for buying the magazine. It is a pretty nice mag with some good articles and short stories.
