Artist Enrichment Grants
September 1 is application deadline for the Kentucky Foundation for Women’s 2006 Artist Enrichment Grants.
The primary goal of the Artist Enrichment program is to provide opportunities for feminist artists and arts organizations to enhance their abilities and skills to make art for positive social change. Applicants should be able to demonstrate their commitment to feminism and their understanding of the relationship between art and social change. Applicants may request funds for a range of activities including: artistic development, artist residencies, the exploration of new areas or techniques, and the creation of new art.
KFW celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The Foundation has given over 1100 grants worth $6.5 million.
