Kentucky State Poetry Society Contest

The contest offers 31 categories this year with a little something going for every type of poet. We’ve revised our fee schedule a little bit and raised the prize money for The Grand Prix. Overall, we’re offering about $2,000 in prize moneys and entry fees are cheap! $2 a poem for non-members, $1 for members or submit to all categories except the Grand Prix for $12.
Awards are made at the Annual Awards Banquet, which will be held on October 14 this year at Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park. First-prize winners are invited to read, and Diane Gilliam Fisher will be our keynote speaker.
