This from Mick Kennedy:
Morrison Gallery Poetry Series will feature W. Loran Smith Thursday Nov. 17 from 7-8.30 (open mic from 7-7.30) in the Morrison Gallery of ECTC’s Administration Building.
Part Cherokee, Smith traces his ancestry back to the mid-18th-century pioneers in then western Bourbon County, Virginia (now Kentucky). His previous collection, “Night Train,” received wide critical acclaim when it was published in 1977. His poems also have appeared in collections published in 2003, “Poets of the New Century” (Boston, 2003) and 1998’s “Last Call: Poems on Alcoholism, Addiction and Deliverance.” His work has been recorded on several spoken word CDs. Café Review of Portland will publish Smith’s latest poems in the Spring 2005 issue.

(interesting number) who have taken this quiz:

You are Rerun!
Which Peanuts Character are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
I don’t even remember Rerun, which sorta proves their point. The largest percentage (21%) turns out to be Shroeder. Guess that says something about our self assessment.
I picked the link up from Lance Mannion.
