French Quarter Fiction

Here’s another way to help the writers of New Orleans — the New Orleans Literary Institute Katrina Arts Relief and Emergency Support (K.A.R.E.S.) in conjunction with Light of New Orleans Publishing is offering French Quarter Fiction: The Newest Stories from America’s Oldest Bohemia. For each book published, $2.00 goes to the K.A.R.E.S. fund.

French Quarter Fiction is an anthology of short stories from authors such as Ellen Gilchrist, Robert Olen Butler, and Andrei Codrescu with a previously unpublished piece from Tennessee Williams. All K.A.R.E.S funds will go for needed literary arts support and relief to the New Orleans literary community, writers, and to continue the programs of the New Orleans Literary Institute.
