I spent time traveling around Peru in 2003 and and got into their traditional textiles. The fabrics are woven from hand-spun threads and colored with natural pigments. The textiles in this body of work also root from a natural source—my own body hair—but the weaving process is achieved through digital photographic cropping, mirror imaging, and color balancing
